The next step up from the basic power range, our locally metered products allow users to accurately determine the amount of current being drawn through a PDU. Metering is provided either through an ammeter or a digital power meter, allowing data centre managers to immediately and easily assess the current or power draw of an individual PDU. These units allow data centre managers to determine with a degree of confidence whether a breaker will trip, a fuse will blow, or if the installation has headroom for further deployment such as a new server in the rack.
Plug types & configurations:
Plug types and socket configurations are available in the same combinations as the basic power range, with a couple of exceptions for technical reasons.
Ammeter products are entry-level for this range, but the identically-sized digital meter includes additional readings for Power Factor, Volts, Amps; displayed as an automated four-digit display cycle.
